Goftar terms of use

Goftar (گفتار) is a free Farsi speech-to-text application for Windows, published by Ozthropic. You press a keyboard shortcut in any Windows application, speak in Persian, and the transcribed text is inserted where your cursor already was.

This page is the terms of use governing Goftar specifically, separate from the terms for the Ozthropic website.

Only builds downloaded from this website are supported. Each release publishes a SHA-256 checksum so a downloaded installer can be verified against what was actually published.

Goftar is free and is currently a beta release. Transcription accuracy varies by engine and by speaker, and the offline engine is explicitly less accurate than the cloud engines. The full text of these terms is on this page for anyone with JavaScript enabled.
